okay... first thing.... i was suppose to run the second leg when coach suddenly changed it-because the other runners like joel were tired.... cos previously coach made it such that the second runner me, runs the least... he didn't want too much responisbility to be on me, and also too much pressure... but on the day, it was suddenly changed...
so i didn't say a thing... not that i was damn pissed or what.... but i just kept quiet.... was damn nervous.... so it was the 4X400m 'C' division boys finals. i was changed to the 1st leg. so i put the starting block at the start line... then suddenly the official came to me and told me it was the wrong line... wah lao... i was damn malu... shit... haha... i was like, focus man... focus! so i did. and after my run, i checked the apporximate timing i had ran... and it was a bloody 58! 58 secs plu fora 380m run! i was damn pissed with myself... i don't know what happened... yes, we did win gold but... the timing... i screwed everything up. shit. i am still damn disappointed.

argh.... so scary loh.... it's like, my first time. yes, i am a virgin. haha. i'll be running second runner... here's the line up:

hehe... Tee is our fastest runner... hope he'll cover my time... he do have a chance of winning... my hopes soared as i just did my personal best (P.B) yesterday, time of 57.8... impressed coach... impressed me too... hehe... hope i can mantain this speed. then we'll be finishing in glory and names in the record. i hope we can do it!
come down and support us.... haha.... doubt anyone from other schools would... don't even know whether my sister will... she is going too... hehe... my cousin too....

Firstly, in the 'A' boys... Hakeem, the first qualifier for that division, was leading, for about 30m or so from the second runner, after the first 300m... slowly, he was dying out... then, Marc Ong, from ACJC, had some energy in him which unleashed and finally closing in, about 5 metres away, at the last hudle, 40m away from the finishing line... then 20m later, he whacked and was first, leaving Hakeem behind. it was damn cool.
Okay... no in the 'C' div boys, earlier on... it was kinda sad for ACS(I)... i can't really give full details cos i myself was in the race competing... Barry, who was expected to get first, and even to break the record set by Marc Ong.... he finihed in a disappointing 4th... i didn't know at all... only long after the race... so sad...
but i was quite happy... for myself... not beacuse Barry lost... cause i was in the 8th lane, last qualifier in the heats... then somehow i managed to beat Joel Pang from sports school, who i lost to in the heats, by 0.01 secs... i dun really know the times... but u can go check on www.rjcat.com after 8pm. so this was really an achievement for me... i was damn scared before the race... my heart was pumping so hard that when i was lying down, putting my hand on my chest, i could not only feel the heartbeat, but could see it moving my hand... freaky, huh? but then i told coach that i was damn scared... then he comforted me and stuff and i immediatly cooled myself down...
now i gained lots of experience... yes.... haha... but it's sad that we're not in the lead for overall points... we need more... there is a chance for us breakingthe 4X100m and 4X400m relays.... just have to strive and work hard for it... but not focus too hard on the record... or we'll lose concertration... i know we can do it!

hiyo.. so sad... i didn't qualify for the 100m hurdles... it's the race i prefer to than the 400m hurdles... so ironic... damn... and coach didn't lemme go to watch the primary school final... i had to watch the final of the 100m hurldes later that day... it sucked...

i just came back from a satisfying day... cos... i qualified! for 400mH (hurdles).... yay... so happy... never expected it... coach was damn happy... for both me and shang rong, another sec 1... barry did well to... (for full details, go to www.rjcat.com (go under secondary schools track & field 2004)) unfortunately, shang rongdidn't qualify... i qualified last... but coach said that he wouldn'tblame or scold me if i were to walk the 400H in the finals... cos the most important thing was that i got a point for our school! but i'll try to earn maximum points that i can... try my best... hehe.
and tomorrow, it's the 100mH event.... both heats and finals.... i am not that nervous.. .cos i am comfortable with it... not like 400mH... i was scared of the fatigue... i hate being tired after a long run... it just kills me.... and, if i on't qualify for it, i can go with Bongard to the primary school sports meet, the finals, to do some scouing... doubt they'll come to our school anyway... cos they'll go to sports school and stuff... bloody sports school... haha...
